Manitoba looked a lot like the rest of the prairies and Winnipeg felt like Regina, just bigger. We met up with friends for supper at the Olive Garden and enjoyed some wine... (well we all did except Neil, the driver).
We then proceeded to get lost on our way out of town and took about 40 minutes to get out of Winnipeg -- don't ask me how, we had been given clear directions -- however, we are just plain old retarded and if there is an impossible way to do something, we find it.
One of the highlights of MB was when we were able to positively identify the old "Georgies"...
I love it. Georgie's was a great place and I am V pleased that you could identify it AFTER renovations during a drive by. Next time you're in Winnipeg I think we need to go there instead of the Olive Garden.
