So yesterday I lied -- apparently we are not organized -- at all.

Today I was going to call the moving company and set up a moving time with them. First, I spent an hour going through our stack of forwarded mail and paid bills, filed important documents in our file box, etc... I finally finished and felt pretty good about things so I reached for the "Moving" Binder I made in Vancouver -- where ALL our important moving related documents should have been and found what I needed most was missing. We apparently have no record of our move. The receipt from the movers -- gone. The number to contact -- missing. I in a fit of bloody rage and paranoia I called Neil at work and was told to 'relax' that it would turn up. Well -I've torn through all of our things and I DO NOT SEE IT ANYWHERE!!!!!

So fine, I can chill -- instead I called ICBC to get my drivers record sent to me. No Problems.

Then I called the Ontario Teachers College to check on my status and was told that my file had just this Monday been sent to "Evaluators" -- that from this point I should receive a letter from them in 6 weeks. 6 WEEKS. I sent all of my stuff over a MONTH AGO and it is just NOW getting looked at??? OK there was a glitch in that a letter from BCCT was forwarded to me and not to them and I found out about it AFTER we moved but does anyone else seem at all surprised at how NOTHING IN MY LIFE IS EVER SIMPLE. Why can't I be one of those people just blessed with good fortune -- where things just fall into my lap, everything always goes as planned and I live happily and stress-free ever after. Now I know what you are thinking -- that no one's life is like that -- but I look around sometimes and it is hard not to feel like we are always getting the shitty end of the stick. It's not like we don't work hard, or put in the time.

I am better now. I just needed to rant and that felt good. I am over it.
