It amazes me how someone can love you -- even when you don't see them that often. I often like to boast of greatness but I am not exaggerating when I say that my nephew loves me. I can honestly say that I love this kid back. He is amazing. We've been hanging out a lot since I came to visit and today he told me I can never leave. Awww.
He adamently refuses to sit for a nice picture with me. Every picture I have of the two of us depicts us up to no good so without further adieu...
As most of you know, I came home to host a baby shower. Harry was super excited to meet "Neil's baby." He just never grasped the idea that it was Neil's sister that had the baby. My new niece is always referred to as "Neil's baby." It's actually kind of funny. Here he is meeting her.
In other news:
Tonight I went out for supper with Kendra, Alyssa and Danielle. It was fun. Three ladies I truly miss. I love how we can all be super busy with our grown-up lives but still get together and not feel awkward -- even though we may only see each other now once or twice a year.
I have been busy making Christmas cards. Have I actually found something "arty" that I like doing??
Lovely Christmas cards. It's something I tried once and found out was a.) going to take way more time than I had because I always write a novel in my Christmas cards as it is, and b.) it's friggin expensive - right up there with scrapbooking. Maybe when I'm done school and have a wee bit more time on my hands.
I am totally jealous about your dinner out!
