So I am back in TO... that means:
a) my terrible job interview was perhaps not so terrible after all -- it was actually good enough to warrant granting me employment! FINALLY!! The last three years have not been in vain -- I am good enough to sub in a second province. Now I can worry about that 1.5 hour commute.
b) the house will be clean again. I have 10 days of Neil's laundry to work my way through...
c) my Regina family will miss me grievously -- they are probably crying as I write this.
d) Neil and I can plan a fun winter get-away before heading back to Regina for Christmas -- a vacation prior to our vacation... sometimes these are needed! We found a last minute deal to NYC (flights + 3 nights) so we are debating whether or not to do it... I hope we do!
In other news, it is the start of December -- that means my parents wedding anniversary. Yes, on December 1st, they celebrated 33 years together. Congratulations!! My dad, in a true expression of love is taking my mom to see, The Lord of the Dance. Anyone who knows the old man will have a chuckle at the thought of him sitting through 2+ hours of Michael Flatley-esque Celtic dancing. I know I sure did! But it is sweet, he must really love my mom.
When I returned to TO yesterday, there was some snow on the ground but the temperature was a warm -1. What a nice change from the frosty reception I received in Saskatchewan.
That is all for tonight!
