Tomorrow will be the first day since moving that I will be completely alone for an entire day.

Everyone I know will be at work.

This will continue for a week and a half.

Then, my parents will be out here and within a few days of that, Neil and I will be moving into our new place. After that, I will have to unpack, settle in, find a new job and essentially settle into a new life in a new place.

It's a strange feeling, this period of transition -- kind of like the calm before a storm. I want to enjoy this free time -- but cannot shake the feeling of complete uselessness. I've given myself little errands and tasks to complete everyday. We are organized and ready to move. There is no need to fret, yet I am filled with some weird nervous energy. People always talk of wanting time for themselves and here I have it.

Guess I'd better enjoy it!
