I was driving home, after dropping off my sister-in-law and niece at the airport, thinking, I'm going to miss them a bunch as it was so nice to have someone to spend the days with.... Still, I was pretty happy as it was such a delightful visit!! I got home and lo and behold, I have a job interview with another school district later this month. YAY!!! Think, The Pointer Sisters, "I'm So Excited!" and lots of dancing!! That kind of excited!! It is in a closer district so it would mean a shorter commute. It is subbing but it is for my specific age preference (middle years) AND here's the kicker... I know for a fact that this district has a shorter wait time (2 weeks)** for a vulnerable sector screen -- sooooo, if all goes well, I will be working in this district first (how sad is that??)and I'll still be able to work the other district so I should be extra super busy!!
** When calling all other Police jurisdictions, I was informed that this region's police department will do a vulnerable sector screen for any employee working within the district, regardless of where the person lives... Can you say it with me, Hallelujah!!!
