Neil and I have a new dinner time tradition. I PVR The Daily Show with John Stewart and The Colbert Report in the afternoon and we watch them over dinner. Both are damn funny. Case in point, here is last night's WORD.

So I went to youtube and found the trailer to the documentary, "Jesus Camp," that Colbert refers to. Check it out:
This scares the crap out of me. I'm more for teaching kids manners, respect and tolerance/acceptance of people, to love... but not for out-right brainwashing. Find me a kid who hasn't attended an indoctrination seminar (ahem cough cough) I mean "Jesus Camp" that will claim he found God at age 5...

That preview just gave me the shivers. I have heard about the film - and I'm going to go see it. I'm very curious to see more. The scaries part to me is when the guy says we control the white house and we control the congress. -morphy

Well, Mr/Ms. Ask a Theologian, if Ms. Jesus Camp gets her way and those brain-washed, I mean God loving children, get as passionate about the gospel as those kids in Palestine,etc do, (complete with chest strapped dynamite) we may just see this Final Battle. I do have a comment for the lady in the Jesus camp promo -- you say there are 2 types of people: those that love Jesus and those that don't. Well I think there are 3 types. The third being those that might love Jesus but are scared out of their minds by religious freaks who train children to be in God's army. Is God's Commander in Chief David Koresh, or just someone like him?? And can I ask, God's army against what/who??? People who use their brains to think rationally about things?? Scientists?? damn scientists -- always looking for the truth with facts, reason,proof, etc...
