March: In Review

Man, I need to stop being so lazy.  I'm going to take a moment to reflect on the fact that I had thought to make posting regularly a New Year's resolution.  So glad I don't believe in New Year's resolutions.

March was a busy month.  I spent the second week dying from my second nasty bout with 'the cold from hell.'  Sinus infections, bronchitis, migraines  -- oh, I hope you are a thing the past.

Week three was a busy week.  It was March Break and my friend KC was out to visit.  I was worried as I had planned out every waking minute of our time together and I was still not feeling better.  As a matter of fact, I was still feeling pretty rough and had made a contingency plan with N that if I bolted suddenly from any outing that he was to take over my role of hostess with the mostest.

The week was so fun!  We watched the Leafs win (who'd have guessed that was possible) and the Raptors too (almost equally startling, given their horrendous season).  We went to We Will Rock You (it's a kind of magic! - love it - but I love Queen), a taping of The Hour (always entertaining) and my favourite musical of all time, The Sound of Music (it was wonderful -- I know you were all wondering -- haha).  We also shopped to the point of me having a hissy fit and demanding to be allowed to leave the mall (KC makes Becky Bloomwood seem frugal).

You can see pictures of our escapades here .

The day after KC left, N took off for 16 days in Switzerland and France.  That's right, he's off checking on that "dooms-day" device, otherwise known as the LHC.  That means I have been alone for the last little bit.  All's well.  I've been busy with work but I've also been enjoying a little alone time.

Soooooooo, that was my March.  Hopefully, I'll see fit to post more than once in April.

Happy Spring,

MSK
