My husband and I have this little tradition of passing on interesting or disturbing articles that cross our paths. I return from my visit to Regina, to find the following article, taken from the Vancouver Sun, sitting on my desk.

Why are these nut jobs allowed to indoctrinate the youth of today?

I suppose I shouldn't get upset because anyone with a brain can appreciate science and make informed decisions about things. These people who use their brains can also maintain their faith, and take the bible with a grain of salt.

I was raised Catholic -- and people like this man make me want to completely renounce my faith.

I have the grace at least to send out an apology if this offends anyone. I acknowledge that this is just my point of view and that when I'm angered by something, I find it hard to compose an eloquent critique. As this is my blog and I'm not looking for mass readership, but for a place to vent -- I am going to speak my mind.
