Today I came home from work and was happy to see that the maintenance work we'd requested was completed (we had a new microwave installed above the stove as our old one had a broken clock.) So there I am flitting around my kitchen putting things back into the cupboards (which were emptied as a precaution) when I stumble upon a hand-written note on my grocery list pad.
The note was written by some lady offering a cleaning service. I was a horrified as I wondered, how did this lady get into my kitchen? And how completely unprofessional and tacky/creepy to be leaving notes to complete strangers inside their apartments.
My resident manager is getting an earful tomorrow. If they let this woman into my suite while they were here doing maintenance I think THAT is unprofessional too. I'm seriously disturbed.

Yeah, I called yesterday and they were going to look into it. The guy I talked to couldn't believe it... and I said, yup, it's pretty damn creepy to come home and find a handwritten note on your kitchen counter from some strange lady that shouldn't have access to your kitchen counter....
